Win the Books Are My Bag Readers Awards 2020 winners

And the winners are...

The Books Are My Bag Readers Awards are one of a kind. They're the only book awards curated by bookshops and chosen by readers. At National Book Tokens, we’re proud to have helped create these awards and continue to sponsor them every year. The awards included six shortlists chosen by booksellers across the UK and Ireland, while the Readers' Choice Award winner was chosen entirely by readers (like you!). Thousands of you voted for your favourite books, and the winners were unveiled in a virtual ceremony hosted by Grace Dent.

16-year-old Dara McAnulty won in the Non-Fiction category with Diary of a Young Naturalist, former Readers Awards winner Stuart Turton took home the Fiction award with The Devil and the Dark Water, whilst Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet has been voted your book of the year in the Readers’ Choice category.
