Caboodle Firsts: Get one of 100 copies of The Ash House for young booklovers

The Ash House

We're giving 100 children the chance to read Angharad Walker's The Ash House, before it's out in March 2021.

A new boy arrives at the Ash House. He can't remember his name – or why he's been sent there.

Dom greets him, remembering the importance of Nicenesses, and the rules made by the Headmaster before he left them on their own. Dom gives the boy a new name – Sol, for Solitude. With nowhere else to go, and troubled by a mystery pain that no medicine can cure, Sol joins the gang of children living in the shadows of the secretive house, with its walls that seep smoke into the air. They do what they can to survive.

Soon, however, there’s more for the children of Ash House to face – unless Dom and Sol’s new-found friendship can defeat the darkness that descends with the arrival of the Doctor...

Grown ups can be in with a chance of being sent one of 100 copies by completing the entry form below.
