Win all 10 books on this year's YA Book Prize shortlist!

10 books that teens will love (and so will you!)

This year's YA Book Prize shortlist has been revealed and we're delighted to give away sets of all 10 books to two lucky Caboodlers!

The YA Book Prize launched in 2014 as the first prize to focus specifically on British and Irish fiction for young adults. The prize celebrates great books for a younger audience and aims to get more teens reading and buying books.

The fantastic shortlist features:

  • Wranglestone by Darren Charlton
  • Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson
  • And the Stars Were Burning Brightly by Danielle Jawando
  • Eight Pieces of Silva by Patrice Lawrence
  • Loveless by Alice Oseman
  • The Great Godden by Meg Rosoff
  • Melt My Heart by Bethany Rutter
  • Hold Back the Tide by Melinda Salisbury
  • Cane Warriors by Alex Wheatle
  • A Snowfall of Silver by Laura Wood

The YA Book Prize Special Achievement Award has also been awarded to the wonderful Malorie Blackman to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Noughts & Crosses. During her 30-year career as an author, Malorie has inspired generations of young readers, not only through her own writing, but also during her time as Children’s Laureate, which saw the founding of the UK's first Young Adult Literature Convention (YALC).

The winner of this year's YA Book Prize was announced on Thursday 6th May – congratulations to Alice Oseman!
