This year’s British Book Awards winners were announced on 29th June in a virtual ceremony. To celebrate 30 years of The British Book Awards, we're delighted to give away a set of all 8 Books of the Year 2020.

The British Book Awards, affectionately known as the "Nibbies" after the golden pen nib trophy, represent the best of the book trade. First launched in 1990, the British Book Awards showcase and celebrate the best books, the best bookshops and the best publishers. This year saw female authors champion above the rest, including Candice Carty-Williams who won Overall Book of the Year for Queenie.

  • No purchase necessary.

  • Only one entry per person will be accepted. Entrants may not win more than one prize. Entrants only need to enter once to be counter in every draw.
  • The prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives, and subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the specification of the prize or offer an alternative prize.   • Entrants agree to the Promoter using their details in post-competition publicity. Your details will not be used for any other purpose, or passed onto any third parties, unless specified. Winners’ details may be shared securely with a third-party in order to fulfil the dispatch of competition prizes.
  • We will contact winners by email. In the event of a winner not responding after 14 days, we reserve the right to allocate the prize to another winner, or foreclose the prize. Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted.
