Bookshop Description (Est. 1729)

Arguably the longest-surviving bookshop in the country, we have been here on College Street in Winchester since 1729. You will find an exciting and ever-changing mix of new books for adults and children, together with a range of stationery including beautiful gift cards and book-related gifts. We have a whole floor devoted to children for you to enjoy browsing. We also specialise in school book fairs and author events.

Jo Clarke is the author of The Travelling School Mysteries, Libby and the Parisian Puzzle and Libby and the Highland Heist. If you want to learn how to plot the perfect heist story, assemble your own team and devise an elaborate plan that will surprise your reader, then join Jo in this fun and interactive writing workshop. There are two sessions to choose from – Wednesday 5th April at 10am and 12pm Offer Terms Event ticket £2.00 per participating child. The ticket price can be redeemed against the purchase of a book on the day. Parents or carers should remain in the building for the duration of the event but do not need to book a ticket for themselves. Share
