From Monday to Saturday Canaan Christian Ministries provides a spectrum of the very latest and bestselling books from world renowned authors to older and respected classics. Canaan boasts a large deposit of Bibles, as well as a vast selection of Biographies, Best sellers and Children’s books. Furthermore the store offers customers a broad range of Christian DVD’S and CD’s as well as beautiful cards and gifts for all occasions
But this is just one side of Canaan. Canaan Christian Ministries was formed in 1979, designed not only to be a bookshop, but to be a hub for Churches and Christians within the local community. Canaan was formed with the broader aim of promoting the Christian faith. It soon became clear that the bookshop was to be the focus for outreach in the area and since then Canaan has been at the forefront of local Church and community action. Canaan has had the honour of hosting countless notable speakers and authors from a range of backgrounds and places.
We also offer a mail order service and we are happy to order, on behalf of our customers. Remember it's not always cheaper online!
