Book Island Challenge 2020 - Answers & Winners

 

Last year, we challenged young adventurers to guess which book characters lived on the islands in our Book Island Challenge. 

And the answers are... *drum roll*

1. Ada Twist from Ada Twist, Scientist written by Andrea Beaty and illustrated by David Roberts
2. James Henry Trotter from James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl
3. Tracy Beaker from the Tracy Beaker series written by Jacqueline Wilson and illustrated by Nick Sharratt 
4. Claude from the Claude series by Alex T. Smith
5. The Gruffalo from The Gruffalo written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler
6. Nessa and/or Demelza from the Knights & Bikes series by Gabrielle Kent and illustrated by Rex Crowle.
7. Ahmet from The Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali Q. Raúf

10 children who guessed all seven characters correctly won a £10/€10 National Book Token and selection of 14 fantastic books from Knights Of, who publish inclusive books for children.
